Interactive Installation: Reflections of the Enlightened Individual
The audio-visual, interactive whole-room installation by AGYA member Rami Chahin (Musicology, Oldenburg) responds to the actions of its visitors. Experience yourself and your movements as fragmented and enlightened wall projections. Engage with the artwork and interact with the reflections of yourself.
AGYA Science Café – Infusions of Enlightenment
Coffee Tasting & Stand-up Science Talk
Coffee was the engine that helped drive the Enlightenment. As centres of Enlightenment thinking, coffee houses flourished over the whole of Europe. AGYA invites you to taste and experience Arab and German coffee pleasures in an exclusive combination with Stand-up Talks by AGYA members and alumni/ae with their enlightening takes on research. Come along, take a sip of cultural diversity and explore the hospitality of coffee cultures at the AGYA Science Café. Each Stand-up Science Talk is introduced with a presentation and tasting of a distinct coffee tradition.
